Chanterelle Foray - Cullman County

We are thrilled to announce an exclusive members-only event: the Chanterelle Foray! Join us for a day of exploration and discovery as we hunt for the highly prized chanterelle mushrooms in the beautiful woods of Cullman County. We are also doing a cooking Demo!

• Date: June 14th

•  Time: 9am - 1pm

• Location: Cullman County (Exact location will be disclosed at RSVP and 24 hours before the event)

This foray is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your mycological knowledge, connect with fellow mushroom enthusiasts, and enjoy the great outdoors. Our experienced guides will be there to help identify chanterelles and ensure a safe and educational experience for everyone.

What to Bring:

• Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear

• Basket or bag & knife or scissors for collecting mushrooms

• Water and snacks

• Notebook and pen for taking notes

• Bug spray

• Please consider a $5 donation to Pewterfork Nature Guild for the land management.
